Is TheraBreath A Scam?

Magnifying GlassMany people often wonder whether certain sites are scam or not, or whether their products are scams. So today we’ll take a look at a business in the ‘bad breath’ world, and see if TheraBreath and their products are scams.

What is TheraBreath?

TheraBreath is an online company that sells products to help with your oral health. They sell products that can help with tonsil stones, bad breath, yellowed teeth, and other things.

Started back in the mid 90s by Dr. Harold Katz, TheraBreath has risen to become one of the top oral companies in the USA. Being part of the ADEA (The Voice of Dental Education), and winning the bizrate.com award twice, one could hardly call this company a scam.

It all started back in the early 1990s. Dr. Katz, a dentist by trade, started trying to help his daughter with her bad breath. All things seemed to fail. They tried different mouthwashes, different toothpastes. But nothing worked. It even seemed as though her breath got worse.

Even brushing her teeth and flossing several times a day didn’t give her better breath. And so Dr. Katz startedDoctor looking at something researching, With a degree in Bacteriology, he soon found out the real causes of bad breath, mainly due to bacteria on the top of the tongue and in the back of the throat.

As he kept testing theory after theory, Dr. Katz found out that oxygen not only stopped the bad breath bacteria in their tracks, but also killed them off completely.

With this knowledge, he started TheraBreath, and made products that could help cure bad breath. And he has been doing this ever since.

What Products Do They Sell?

TheraBreath sells a wide variety of products. You can find anything from toothpaste to pet breath products found at their store.

And much more.

Products can be found at many of the large retailer stores, such as CVS, RiteAid, Walmart, Walgreens, and Target. And with a 100% 30-day money back guarantee on all their products, TheraBreath comes as one of the best oral care companies out there.

Are TheraBreath products a scam?

It’s a valid question that is asked, whether the products are scams. But the answer is rather simple. Many different individuals have come saying that TheraBreath products have worked for them.

Positive ReviewsOn TheraBreath’s website, there are 100’s of testimonials from customers claiming that TheraBreath’s products work. Not only that, but they are also up to date, with the last testimonial only a week ago (from writing this).

But I know how testimonials can be faked on someone’s own website. You’re probably asking if there is any other proof that the products aren’t scams. The answer can be found through amazon.com

Selling products through amazon is one way to show people whether your products are a scam. And with most, if not all, of TheraBreath’s products, you can tell by looking at their reviews.

For example, TheraBreath’s Dentist Formulated Oral Rinse has over 2,900 reviews. 74% of them (over 2000) are a 5 star rating. You can’t fake that kind of rating.

Conclusion

TheraBreath is not scam. Nor are their products. They’ve been a well-known business for a couple of decades, and have been doing their share of helping the bad breath community.

If you would like to take a look at their products, you can do so here.

While TheraBreath may have worked for several (or a lot of) people, it may not mean it will work for you. There are usually a lot of variables that go into curing/helping bad breath. So just because TheraBreath doesn’t work for you doesn’t mean it is a scam, or that it won’t work of others.

  1. thera breath has lost a customer, they changed the formula for their perio therapy which niw contains coc, xlitol and sorbitol. It tastes awful, like a huge saccahrun sugar rush it spiked my blood glucose to over 250 3x and gave me sores all over my mouth. When I called they redused to guve me a return shipping label saying Inhad to pay to ship tiis crap back to them. No exceptions for a loyal customer of 14 years!!! This stuff is now crap, avoid it and this company because they ibciously don’t guve a damn about the, satisfaction, health and safety of their customers. Very overpriced as well. I was happy with the unsweetened product for years and with teh toothpaste. The peobiotic now also has dextrose in it whxih also spiked my bg so I have to time it with insulin on board to use it. You should nit have to take insulin to use your mouthwash, not to mention have sores allover your mouth from it. DANGEROUS product, not diabetic friendly, do not buy!

    • Hey Ellie,

Thanks so much for your honest review of this product. You give some valid points that I’ll need to take a look at, and re-write my article, assuming I find your conclusions to be true. I am sorry that they didn’t refund your money, and that you have an over all bad experience.

Thanks for letting me (and others) know about what happened to you
